Description:A watercolour by Alf Fallows painted in 2001 depicting a nostalgic view of the High Street in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Shops, cafes and businesses can be seen to the right of the painting in the foreground curving away to the left of the painting in the distance. There is a wide road in the foreground complete with car, van and bicycle. A lady with shopping bags can be seen crossing the road and a policeman is visible in the bottom righthand corner.
