Description:Bagguley's Book Shop was situated on the High Street in Newcastle-under-Lyme. It also sold stationery and offered a book printing and binding service. The motorcar parked outside the shop would have been a rare sight in Newcastle in the 1920s. The shop closed in 1952 and the premises became part of Henry White's ladies department store. By studing Directories of the time Bagguley was at No 44 High street from at least 1904 until 1932.
