Description:The building that housed Henry White's shop was originally The Roebuck coaching inn in Newcastle-under-Lyme. It remained as Henry White's until the 1980s when the Roebuck Shopping Centre was constructed on the site. The old shop facade was retained to lessen the impact of a large retail development on the until then traditional High Street.
