Description:This is an image of the Railway Station decked out for a Royal Visit by Edward VII.
The station was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway in 1852 and it was originally located on King Street opposite the Borough Arms Hotel. The station was eventually closed and demolished on 2nd March 1964.
