Date:1980 - 1990 (c.)
Description:The 1980s show a change in the design for the typical police helmet, with the increased threat of riots the helmet altered being made out of a hard plastic instead of cork with a felt covering and with foam padding. Until then the helmet had remained the same since the Victorian era when it was first introduced. This helmet is from the 1980’s as it is made out of plastic.
