Description:"Plan of an Estate Chapel Chorlton in the Parish of Eccleshall the property of Mssrs Joseph and Hugh Brittain, made in the year 1819 by Charles Heaton"

The fields are numbered and a key at the bottom of the plan attributes the land to either Joseph or Hugh Brittain.
Some of the fields are also attributed to other owners such as Reverend Henry D Broughton, Miss Adderley and the Marquis of Stafford.
This plan has been annotated in ink detailing the sale of land including land sold for the railway in 1835.

A note at the bottom of the plan reads:
"Memorandum, The whole of the land tax on the property not sold by J & H Brittain has not been redeemed by them"
