Date:1926

Description:This is a view of a tranquill London road, with hardly any traffic, leaving pedestrians to cross the road easily and safely. The building on the right hand side is that of the Baptist Church. This church was built in red brick in the Gothic style and replaced an earlier iron church which opened in 1871. Membership at the original church rose so much that in 1914 the foundation stone of the new present church was laid.
