Description:Hubanks store on the High Street pictured before it was modernised, with goods being sold from makeshift counters. William Hubank and Son were a greengrocers and florists and at the time of this photograph had two shops in Newcastle, on High Street and the Ironmarket, and one in Market Drayton. Hubank's survived for a number of decades, but their last shop on Merrial Street closed its doors for the last time in 2002.
