Description:In 1876 St. Giles' was rebuilt in the Gothic revival style by Sir George Gilbert Scott, giving us the church which still stands today. The consecration of the newly finished church took place on Ascension Day, 25th May 1876 by the Lord Bishop of Lichfield. Throughout these changes to the church building, the tower, which dates back to the 13th century, has remained.
