Description:This postcard shows the view from the foot of Boon Hill, at the junction of Raven's Lane and Bignall Hill. The North Staffordshire Branch railway line, seen here running from the left, has now been removed. The wooden buildings visible on Raven's Lane are the station booking hall and offices.
The chimney's seen on the right hand side of this photograph illustrate Bignall End's industrial past, when it was an area of coal mining and nail making.
This photograph was taken by the local photographer Thomas Warham, who had a photographic studio in Audley and who took many photographs of Audley and its surrounding area.
