Description:A view of the north front of Brunswick Chapel, which was located on Brunswick Street. The chapel was built in the 1860s in the Gothic style with bands of blue brick, on land given by a local coach builder, Mr Farr. It was built to replace the Lower Street chapel, which had become too small and became one of the main Methodist chapels in Newcastle. However due to the movement of its congregation out to the suburbs, membership gradually dropped and in 1956 the chapel closed. The building was used for storage until it was demolished.

The corner of the King Edward VII Memorial Baths can be seen on the far right hand side.
