Description:A view of the town centre of Newcastle decorated for the Silver Jubilee of King George V. This gives a good view of what the area looked like before the construction of the Lancaster Buildings. The old Police Station can be seen on the right hand side of the central group of buildings.

This site was demolished in 1936 and the Lancaster buildings constructed.
