Description:The West Brampton Bridge, Level Crossing and Brampton sidings signal box, ready for removal in the late 1960's. The railway line, which originally went from Stoke to Newcastle was opened in 1852, with an extension to Market Drayton in 1870. The railway line was closed in 1965 by Dr Beeching.
