Description:This is a slum clearance plan of Goose Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme which includes houses at the end of Penkhull Street, which later became part of the High Street. These buildings were demolished due to the Housing Act 1930.

This area is now unrecognisable from the plan and the ring-road around the town centre passes through it.
