Description:A national chain of bakeries, opened in Newcastle in the 1960s, and was known as Tiko Patisseries. In total there were three Tiko Bakeries in Newcastle by October 1974, on High Street, Ironmarket and Hassell Street. While the other two had closed by the late 1970s, Tiko on High Street survived until it was renamed Three Cooks which closed in 1996.
