Date:24th of April 1992

Description:Newcastle-under-Lyme did not have a war memorial until 1992. A simple obelisk design was drawn up and made by local sculptor John McKenna. The granite memorial does not include the names of the fallen, instead a simple design of three crosses was chosen.
