Description:There was a gift Shop on this site for many years. Around 1897 it was owned by William Parton, who was one of Newcastle-under-Lyme's earliest photographers. He also owned a picture framing and gilding service, and sold postcards and gifts . His shop became 'Hena's Gifts', then an estate agents in the late 1980s. After that it became a 'Mr Simms Sweete Shoppe', and is currently (February 2025) a nail bar.
